About Us
Mission Statement
Healing Power Therapy mission is to provide culturally and linguistically specific behavioral health services to Somali and East African immigrant and refugee communities in Oregon.

Our mission is to eliminate mental health disparities, increase equitable access to care, and deliver healing services grounded in the cultural, linguistic, spiritual, and communal traditions of the communities we serve.

Vision Statement
We envision a healthcare system where Somali and East African families receive culturally congruent mental health care without language barriers, discrimination, or stigma, and where community-defined wellness practices are respected and integrated into care delivery.

Organizational Cultural Commitment Statement
Healing Power Therapy was established to serve immigrant and refugee communities who experience systemic inequities in traditional healthcare settings.

Our services are delivered in Somali, Swahili, Amharic, and Arabic. The majority of individuals served are members of these communities.

Our staff possess lived experience and cultural immersion within the same communities served. All policies, outreach strategies, and service models are designed specifically to address the historical and structural barriers impacting Somali and East African populations.
